The  bulls consolidated their hold on the  stock market yesterday lifting the  bench market index, the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) All-Share Index  by a record 2.16 per cent while the market capitalisation added N120 billion. The index ended the day at 23,595.59, while the market capitalisation closed at N5.683 trillion.
Also, the value and volume of trading jumped as investors traded 888.621 million shares worth N5.187 billion in 7,899 deals, showing an increase of 65 per cent above the 537.958 million shares valued at N4.446 billion traded in 7,468 deals the previous day.
