First City Monument Bank Plc, Continental Reinsurance Plc and African Paints Nigeria Plc announced their half-year results last week. FCMB posted gross earnings of N29.76 billion for the half year ended June 30, 2010, down from N38.523 billion in the corresponding period of 2009.
