NSE Cap Adds N275bn

The market capitalisation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) has appreciated by N275 billion between Tuesday last week and yesterday when the bulls took over control of the market.
The capitalisation, which measures the value of listed equities, rose from N6.057 trillion to N6.332 trillion.
Similarly, the benchmark indicator - the NSE All-Share Index rose by 4.5 per cent from 24,766.14 to close at 25,889.98 yesterday. The bulls have remained in control of the market since last week as investors renewed demand for stocks.
